Join us for the 10th Annual RUN3rd 5k at Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona. The course is a flat and fast loop around the surrounding Mesa Public Schools property. There will be RUN3rd race shirts and medals guaranteed for all participants who pre-register online! Our annual RUN3rd 5k is a chance to bring the community together to support our young runners. It’s also a chance for the students in our after-school running programs to come together and celebrate all they have accomplished throughout the school year while raising funds for the next season.

Mountain Man Triathlons started in 1984 and are one of the longest standing triathlons in the West. This local race has that good old hometown feel. Beautiful views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. Flagstaff has amazing summer weather, that is cool, clean and green with flora in full bloom. This event includes medals and t-shirts for all finishers, awards, food, fun, and a great course. It is one of the most beautiful courses in the West, and we work hard to make sure that you can enjoy race day.

DESERT ROSE TRIATHLON

Jackson Flat Reservoir, Kanab, Utah

The Desert Rose Triathlon is held at Jackson Flat Reservoir just outside of beloved Kanab, Utah. This location is only one hour from some of the best national parks like Zion, Bryce Canyon, the Wave, and Arizona's Grand Canyon. The race features both Olympic and Sprint distances which begin in Utah and travel through an Arizona loop.

Experience one of the Southwest’s best venues. This local, family-run event was founded in 1984 and is the 5th oldest triathlon West of the Mississippi River. The race course includes breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. It takes place right after the monsoon season with flora in full bloom. Medals for all finishers, handcrafted awards, food, fun, and a great course. The Upper Lake Mary boat docks are about ten miles south of Flagstaff, AZ on Lake Mary Road at mile post 333.

MESA SPRINT TRIATHLON

The Mesa Sprint Triathlon is a fundraiser hosted by the Foundation for Mesa Parks & Recreation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation located in Mesa, AZ. The primary goal of this wonderful fundraiser is to provide under privileged children in our communities the opportunity to attend learn to swim programs and summer recreation programs provided by the city of Mesa’s Parks & Recreation dept.

XTERRA PAPAGO

You won’t have to travel far to enjoy beautiful sights and challenging heights in this kick-off to the 2024-2025 season. Join us in Tempe for either a 36k, 26K, 10K, or 5K run through the scenic Papago Buttes. All participants will receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee and finisher medal, as well as entry into fun post-race festivities. Awards for overall top male and female finishers all three distances. Awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group.

XTERRA SAN TAN

XTERRA is headed to San Tan Regional Park in the Sonoran Desert outside Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, November 3. In addition to a 22K race, we also have 41K for the long-distancers, and 10K and 5K runs so that everybody can enjoy. Enjoy a tough but scenic trek through San Tan Regional Park‘s 10,000 acres of Sonoran Desert. All participants receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee, and a finisher medal.

FAT TURKEY TRAIL RUN

Why come run the Fat Turkey Trail Run? Because you’ve eaten too much, because it’s in the red rocks of Papago Park, because it’s on the trails, because more than a 10k is too far when you’re this full, and because RUNNING IS FUN! XTERRA ESTRELLA

Once again, XTERRA Estrella Mountain Trail Run falls in the cool Arizona December, so join us for the third race in Arizona’s XTERRA Trail Run Series. Hit the desert at Estrella Mountain Regional Park for some tough races at any distance. We have a range of courses, 42K, 24K, 12K, and 5K options, to cater to and challenge the beginner and experienced trail-runner alike.

XTERRA WHITE TANKS

Next on this adventure, race number four in the Arizona XTERRA Trail Run Series takes place at White Tank Mountain Regional Park on Sunday, January 5, 2025. This nearly 30,000-acre park is made up of the rugged and beautiful White Tank Mountains, named for depressions cut into white granite. 40K, 20K, 8K, and 5K courses will bring a challenge and a smile to any runner.

XTERRA MCDOWELL

With over 80 miles of trail to choose from, McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a trail runner’s paradise. Similarly, our venue for the fifth running event of Arizona’s XTERRA Trail Run Series has courses for all trail runner levels. No multiple loops necessary here, the 43K, 24K, 10K, and 6K will keep you on a new trail the entire way.

XTERRA BLACK CANYON

XTERRA Black Canyon Trail Run offers all the challenge and adventure one could ask for. Choose from the 42K, 21K, 11K, 7K on the National Recreation Black Canyon Trail. With river crossings, spectacular views of the Sonoran Desert, and post-race pie, how can you resist?
