Lake Mary Flagstaff

This is the 39th Year for Mountain Man Events. This local race has that good old hometown feel. Beautiful views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. Flagstaff has amazing summer weather with flora in full bloom. This event includes medals for all finishers, awards, food, fun, and a great course. It is one of the most beautiful courses in the West, and we work hard to make sure that you can enjoy race day.

Experience one of the Southwest’s best venues. This local, family-run event is the 5th oldest triathlon West of the Mississippi River. The race course includes breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. Right after the monsoon season with flora in full bloom. This is our 37th annual event with medals for all finishers, handcrafted awards, food, fun, and a great course. The Upper Lake Mary boat docks are about ten miles south of Flagstaff, AZ on Lake Mary Road at mile post 333.


Skyline Aquatics Center 845 South Crismon Rd, Mesa, AZ

The Mesa Sprint Triathlon is a fundraiser hosted by the Foundation for Mesa Parks & Recreation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation located in Mesa, AZ. The primary goal of this wonderful fundraiser is to provide under privileged children in our communities the opportunity to attend learn to swim programs and summer recreation programs provided by the city of Mesa’s Parks & Recreation dept.

Don't miss this thrilling 31-mile bicycle ride that takes cyclists of all skill levels and abilities on an extended tour through Avondale, AZ. The Cycle Avondale route offers beautiful vantage points of the Estrella Mountains and nearby wetlands, culminating in an exclusive multi-lap ride on the famous Phoenix Raceway track.


Enjoy beautiful sights and challenging heights in this kick-off to the 2023-2024 season. Join us in Tempe for 26K, 10K, and 5K trail runs through the scenic Papago Buttes. All participants receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee, and finisher medal, as well as entry into any post race shenanigans. Awards for the top 3 in each age group.

Bare Buns Desert Run

Come and experience the only nude run in AZ! This desert trail 5k will take you around the Shangri La Ranch property; up the hiking trail, along the dry wash, and through the majority of the ranch. Racers are encouraged to run with nothing on but tennis shoes, however nudity is not a requirement. Race registration includes a day visit so plan on spending the day with us to enjoy our pools, café, clubhouse, game room, more hiking, and meeting great friends.


San Tan Mt Regional Park 6533 West Phillips Road, Queen Creek, AZ

XTERRA is headed to San Tan Regional Park outside Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, November 5, 2023. In addition to the iconic 14-mile race, we have a 41K, an 8K and a 5k run, so bring the entire family. Enjoy a tough but scenic trek through San Tan Regional Park‘s 10,000 acres of Sonoran Desert. All participants receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee, and a finisher medal.


This is not your everyday turkey trot. Come race the Turkey (or at least someone dressed like one) on the trails of Papago Park. This fun and enjoyable trail turkey trot is great for the whole family. Join family and friends for a no-pressure fun trail run in the centrally-located trails of the Papago Buttes. The 5k is great for beginners or if you’re just looking for a fun outing. The 10k provides a little more of a challenge and a little bit more scenery.

Once again, XTERRA Estrella Mountain Trail Run falls in the cool Arizona December, so join us for the third race in Arizona’s XTERRA Trail Run Series.
