Gila Hank’s Sprint Triathlon comprises a 75-yard swim, 6-mile bike, and 1.5-mile run. Whether you choose to do the entire triathlon solo or join forces with a relay team, the goal is the same: safely finish the race, enjoy the experience, forge new friendships, and become part of something extraordinary!

Participants in Gila Hank’s Sprint Triathlon will receive a unique t-shirt, a one-of-a-kind triathlon medallion, a comprehensive race packet, and their overall time at the finish. To aid recovery, water and fruit will be provided. The event is made possible by the support of volunteers, sponsors, and the community. For a nominal fee, on-campus overnight camping near EAC’s John Mickelson Stadium is available. Vendors will be onsite when available.

Gila Hank’s Sprint Triathlon is committed to inclusivity, welcoming individuals with physical or developmental disabilities. Participants with diagnosed disabilities that can be reasonably accommodated are encouraged to join. Our aim is to support everyone in reaching the finish line by allowing reasonable assistance. During the registration process, there will be an opportunity to provide details and request necessary accommodations.

RACE TIMING
This event is timed using equipment by RFID Timing Systems. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event.
