Mountain Man Triathlons started in 1984 and are one of the longest standing triathlons in the West. This local race has that good old hometown feel. Beautiful views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. Flagstaff has amazing summer weather, that is cool, clean and green with flora in full bloom. This event includes medals and t-shirts for all finishers, awards, food, fun, and a great course. It is one of the most beautiful courses in the West, and we work hard to make sure that you can enjoy race day.

Experience one of the Southwest’s best venues. This local, family-run event was founded in 1984 and is the 5th oldest triathlon West of the Mississippi River. The race course includes breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. It takes place right after the monsoon season with flora in full bloom. Medals for all finishers, handcrafted awards, food, fun, and a great course. The Upper Lake Mary boat docks are about ten miles south of Flagstaff, AZ on Lake Mary Road at mile post 333.

The Tri Community Tri is a multi-distance triathlon in a rural community. The quaint little town of Pima is located in Southeastern Arizona. With a population of about 3000, there are few cars on the road to disturb racers. The sprint swim is 425 yards lap swim in the public pool located near the center of town. The bike portion of the race heads out of town where wildlife is present and a beautiful 15 mile ride is welcomed with rolling hills. Racers will then see just how quaint our town is as they meander through the neighborhoods on a 5K run. Three deep medals will be given to an overall male and female winners as well as the top three finishers in each 5 year age bracket, male and female.

The primary goal of this wonderful fundraiser is to provide under privileged children in our communities the opportunity to attend learn to swim programs and summer recreation programs provided by the city of Mesa’s Parks & Recreation dept.
Bare Buns Desert Run

This desert trail 5k will take you around the Shangri La Ranch property; up the hiking trail, along the dry wash, and through the majority of the ranch. Racers are encouraged to run with nothing on but tennis shoes, however nudity is not a requirement. Race registration includes a day visit so plan on spending the day with us to enjoy our pools, café, clubhouse, game room, more hiking, and meeting great friends.

Arizona State University invites you to join us for the 2026 Sun Devil Triathlon Classic on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Tempe Town Lake North Park will serve as the hub for all things triathlon. This age-group, draft-legal sprint triathlon offers 28 World Championship slots. Finish in the top two of your age group to earn your spot on Team USA and compete in Hamburg, Germany at the 2027 Age Group World Championships.
