With over 80 miles of trails to choose from, McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a trail runner’s paradise and our venue for race #5 of the XTERRA Arizona Trail Run Series. The 15 mile long course features a gradual climb full of cholla forests and fields of beaver tails. It is one giant loop with a short out and back down to Dixie Mine (and a treat at the turn around). The shorter 7k course is easily defined by its name, the Scenic Trail. Following a counterclockwise loop, the rocky climb at mile 1 will keep you on your toes. All participants will receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee and finisher medal, as well as entry into fun post-race festivities.

RACE TIMING
This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button. Results will be available live at the results kiosk on a big screen TV.
