USA TRIATHLON
Holiday Classic is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member, or (2) purchase a one day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration.

TIMING
This event will be chip timed by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips. Lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete. Chips should be worn on your left ankle and must be returned at the finish.

SPRINT TRIATHLON AWARDS
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the sprint triathlon. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers per the following age groups:
10-14
15-19
20-24
25-29
30-34
35-39
40-44
45-49
50-54
55-59
60-64
65-69
70-74
75-79
80+
Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in the following categories:
Clydesdales (Men 220 +lbs.)
Athena’s (Women 165+ lbs.)

RELAY AWARDS
First place finishers in male, female and coed will receive awards

SUPER-SPRINT TRIATHLON, DUATHLONS, AQUA-BIKES & 5km AWARDS
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers

SWIM START
We will start the swim fastest to slowest. There will be signs around the pool representing your estimated swim time. Please seed yourself accordingly.

AQUA BIKE
Aqua Bike athletes complete the swim and bike only. Final time will be calculated at BIKE IN. Once you have finished please make your way to the finish line at your leisure to collect your medal, grab a drink and return your timing chip.

SITE MAP

COURSE
Please do not use the main community entrance to access the pool. When you are called to the pool please proceed through the south gate.

SWIM
Each athlete will be started one at a time with a 5-10 second gap. Enter the pool feet first. No diving! Up lane 1, under the lane lines, down lane 2, under the lane lines, up lane 3, etc. On completing the 8 lanes in the pool you will have done 200 meters. and will need to return to the swim start for a second loop. As you reenter the pool the starter will give you the right of way over athletes waiting to start.

BIKE
There will be a designated lane separating bike traffic from vehicular traffic around the entire course.
