USA TRIATHLON
The Sun Devil Classic in Tribute to Hannah Henry is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member, or (2) purchase a one-day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration.

QUALIFING FOR WORLDS
TRIATHLON
Age Group Team USA qualification spots will be awarded to the top 18 athletes per gender (based on remaining available spots) in each five-year age group, earning them the opportunity to race the Draft Legal Sprint Triathlon at the 2027 Age Group World Championships in Hamburg, Germany. Please note that athletes must be at least 16 years old on 12/31/27 to be eligible for selection.

AQUABIKE
Age Group Team USA qualification spots will be awarded to the top 18 athletes per gender (based on remaining available spots) in each five-year age group, earning them the opportunity to race the Standard Aquabike at the 2027 Age Group World Championships in Hamburg, Germany. Please note that athletes must be at least 16 years old on 12/31/27 to be eligible for selection.

Please note there is no parking directly at the race site. All parking is at least a 1/2 mile walk/ride to/from the race site. Be aware of bike course traffic closures and plan accordingly.

RACE TIMING
This event will be chip timed by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips. Lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete. Chips should be worn on your left ankle, worn from start to finish and must be returned at the finish line. Please DO NOT cut the provided neoprene strap.
