USA TRIATHLON
Sun Devil Triathlon Classic is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member, or (2) purchase a one-day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration.

Please note there is no parking directly at the race site. All parking is at least a 1/2 mile walk/ride to/from the race site. Be aware of bike course traffic closures and plan accordingly.

1500 – 1600: 750m Swim Course Preview (must check in first and wear your timing chip)
1600 – 1630: Sun Devil Classic athlete briefing

0530 – 0645: Transition open
0645 – Transition closes, national anthem and pre-race briefing at swim start
0653 – Sunrise (November 8)
0700 – Collegiate men’s club race
0710 – Collegiate women’s club race
0720 – Sun Devil Classic men 0-44
0730 – Sun Devil Classic men 45+

Top two per age group will receive slots to represent Team USA in Hamburg, Germany, Sept. 23 to 27, 2026

RACE TIMING
This event will be chip timed by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips. Lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete. Chips should be worn on your left ankle, worn from start to finish and must be returned at the finish line. Please DO NOT cut the provided neoprene strap.
