The Merrill Ranch Triathlon is going kick start your Halloween weekend. Whether you are a seasoned racer or a first time triathlete wanting to take the plunge, this is the race for you. Consisting of a 400m pool swim, a fast 12 mile course and a run to the finish. New for 2021 is the addition of a duathlon and aquabike.

Registration will remain open until 9:00 a.m. So if you have a child racing you do not have to be there early.

All participants must wear a helmet on the bike route**

SWIM START
We will start the swim fastest to slowest. There will be signs around the pool representing your estimated swim time. Please seed yourself accordingly.

ADULT COURSE
SWIM (400m)
Each athlete will be started one at a time with a 15 second gap. Each athlete will swim up lane 1, under the lane lines, down lane 2, under than lane lines into lane 3 and repeat the process through all 8 lanes. On exiting the pool go back to the starter at lane 1, you will be given the right of way over those yet to start. Repeat your first leg through the pool then head to transition. Swim will start fastest to slowest. There will be signs around the pool representing your estimated swim time. Please seed yourself accordingly.

RACE TIMING
This event is timed using equipment by RFID Timing Systems. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event. These chips are the athlete’s responsibility and missing chips will be charged to the athletes.
