Join The Homeless I.D. Project for the 2nd Annual I.D. Rather Be Running 5k. This year we’re adding a Music Festival and Food Trucks! The Homeless I.D. Project is the only organization in Arizona with a singular focus on helping men, women, and children experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives by providing replacement identification documents. Pre-registered runners receive a race T-shirt, goody bag filled with sponsor donations, and a FOOD TRUCK BREAKFAST!! (Your choice between the available food trucks).

Top 3 runner from each age group will be entered into a raffle to win a $75 gift card to Runners Den Phoenix(3 winners). Largest group to run will receive $100 gift card to Grimaldis Pizzeria.

After the race, join us for the I.D. Rather Be Jamming MUSIC FESTIVAL featuring David Simmons, Jennie J and the 3 winners of our first Annual Song Writing Contest! The festival is free to the public and will feature live music, food trucks, and sponsor and vendor booths! Come for the race – stay for the fun! All are welcome.

Parking at Victory Lanes Sports Complex. The race path is on packed dirt that goes through the Adobe Dam behind Victory Lanes and Wet ‘N Wild Waterpark. May not be suitable for certain strollers, feel free to reach out with additional questions about the race route. RACE TIMING
This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button. Results will be available live at the results kiosk.
