SWIM

Expect the water temp to be in the low to mid 50s. Per USA Triathlon wetsuits, neoprene caps and neoprene boots are allowed. USA Triathlon has granted us a rules amendment to allow neoprene gloves, provided they are not webbed. We will follow the USA Triathlon guidelines for water temperature.
If the water temp is 54 and above swim will proceed as planned
If water temp is 50-54 swim will be shortened to 400m
If water temp is below 50 event will become a duathlon

The ground in transition is on the rough side. Feel free to leave flip flops at swim exit
