This reverse order sprint triathlon will kick-off your fall season with a bang! The Anthem Sprint Triathlon, presented by Spooner Physical Therapy, is held in a great location and on a fantastic course. Consisting of a 5km run, a fast 20km bike course and a 400m swim to the finish, The Anthem Sprint Triathlon is a great way to start your fall racing season.

USA TRIATHLON
The Anthem Sprint Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member, or (2) purchase a one day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration.

All participants who pick up at Spooner will receive a Spooner water bottle loaded with goodies and an opportunity to enter a raffle to win a free Hypervolt Go! The Spooner team will also be available for Free Movement Screenings! Designed to identify any movement deficiencies, a movement screen is a quick meeting with a therapist designed to provide you with a plan to optimize your movement and training. Appointment required. Jump-start your recovery!
The Spooner team will offer free treatment for all participants after the race. Jump-start your recovery with a Spooner therapist and return to training more quickly. Look for the Spooner tent! All you’ll need to do is complete a consent form and the team will work to get you moving and feeling your best!

RACE TIMING
The Anthem Sprint Triathlon is timed using equipment by RFID Timing Systems. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event.

Top 3 boys and girls in the kid’s triathlon.
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the adult distance per the following age groups:

SWIM (2 cycles)
Enter the pool feet first. No diving! Up lane 1, under the lane lines, down lane 2, under the lane lines, up lane 3, etc. On completing the 8 lanes in the pool you will have done 200 yds and will need to return to the swim start for a second loop. In past years there has been crowding in the pool. This system will allow for overtaking and have one way swim traffic in each lane.
KID’S COURSE

BIKE – 4.5 miles (one loop)
