“5K for HEROES” is a 5K run/walk/obstacle race donating 100% of the proceeds to Camp Hometown Heroes, an organization that supports children of fallen service members. This 5k will feature 3 options:
1.Traditional 5k run/walk
2. 5k including 11 overall stations led by trainers from local gyms, which will take participants through mini workouts during the 5k.
3. Kids 1k obstacle adventure run as well.

RACE TIMING
This event is timed using equipment by RFID Timing Systems. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event. These chips are the athlete’s responsibility and missing chips will be charged to the athletes.
