DESCRIPTION:DISTANCES\n15 and older\nSwim 475 yards / Run 2.5 mile \nYouth 8-14\nSwim 225 yards / Run 0.5 mile \nCOST\n15 and older\n$35 – Includes event t-shirt and medals\nYouth 8-14\n$30 – Includes event t-shirt and medals\nRace for free by referring 5 people\, details are in your confirmation email. \nPARKING\nParking is available on-site at the Avondale Aquatic Center and the Avondale Civic Center Library. \nSCHEDULE\nSaturday\, September 6th\n5:00 p.m. Check in begins\n7:00 p.m. Avondale Dunk n Dash 475 yard swim and 2.5 mile run begins\n7:30 p.m. Avondale Dunk n Dash 225 yard swim and 0.5 mile run begins \nPool will remain open until 9 p.m. if you’d like to stay and enjoy the slides and diving boards. \nRACE TIMING\nThis event will be chip-timed by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips. Lost or unreturned chips will\nbe charged to the athlete. Chips should be worn on your left ankle and must be returned at the\nfinish. \nSWIM COURSE\nSwim Course will take place in the 25-yard competition pool at the Avondale Aquatic Center.\nParticipants will swim 225 yards before exiting the pool and reentering to finish with 250 yards.\nYouth course will only swim the 225 yards. \nRUN COURSE\nThe run course will leave the Aquatics Center and move through the adjacent property and into the greenbelt of the neighborhood to the South and East of the Aquatic Center. Run course is unpaved\, please be prepared for uneven terrain.
