An increase in pH is caused by an abundance of algae in the lake typically caused by an increase in the temperature and little to no movement of water through the lake. If the pH does not meet this standard Splash and Dash will be cancelled. Furthermore\, should there be 1/5 of an inch of rain within 24 hours of Splash & Dash the event will be cancelled. Soloists and teams have from 6 or 12 hours form their wave start time to complete as many laps as possible. Laps completed after 6 or 12 hours will not be counted.\n2. Race numbers must be forward facing and displayed at all times.\n3. Please overtake with care and communicate to the slower rider. Slower riders please yield.\n4. One rider per team on the course at a time.\n5. Rider exchanges must be made in the exchange tent.\n6. Each athlete riding between 5:15 p.m. and the finish must have a front light with two to three hours of battery life.\n7. Each team that starts this race will be given a lap count and time in the results regardless of when they finish. Winners are the individuals and teams that complete the most laps in the fastest time before 12 hours has elapsed. \nEXCHANGE/LAP\nRather than come into the aid area\, solos (or team member taking a second lap) may make an immediate right after the finish line to start another lap. Fluids\, nutrition or any assistance should not be taken at this location. Check for a Lump! mission is to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer through education\, prevention\, and direct assistance with free wigs and mammograms. When you are called to the pool please proceed through the south gate. \nSwim\nEach athlete will be started one at a time with a 15 second gap. Enter the pool feet first. No diving! Up lane 1\, under the lane lines\, down lane 2\, under the lane lines\, up lane 3\, etc. On completing the 8 lanes in the pool you will have done 200 meters. and will need to return to the swim start for a second loop. As you reenter the pool the starter will give you the right of way over athletes waiting to start. \nBike\nTwo loops for Super Sprint\nThree loops for Sprint\n \nRun\n \nTIMING\nThis event will be chip timed by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips. Lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete. Chips should be worn on your left ankle and must be returned at the finish. \nDIRECTIONS & PARKING\nTake I-17 to Anthem Way (5 miles North of Carefree Highway). Exit east onto Anthem Way. Proceed straight through two sets of lights to Freedom Way.
