DESCRIPTION:The Poor Clares are happy to host this event – now in it’s 14th year and running! The Nun Run is The Poor Clare’s biggest annual fundraise\, and the most successful\, thanks to YOU! With distances of 10K\, 5K\, 1 mile and a Prayer walk\, there is something for everyone.  The Nuns wish to “thank you ahead of time” for your support and they look forward to seeing you at the Run! \nPOOR CLARES\nRemember to stop by the Poor Clare booth to say “hi’ to the nuns and get entered in the raffle \nDONATIONS\nCan’t make it to run but would still like to make a difference? CLICK HERE to make a donation to the sisters \nLOCATION\nKiwanis Park\nNorth Soccer Field\n95 W. Baseline Rd\nTempe AZ 85283 \nROUTES\n5km/10km\n\n5km = 1 loop\n10km = 2 loops \n10km Bypass to Lap 2\n \n1 Mile\n \nCOST\n$30 prior to December 31 at 11:59 p.m.\n$35 prior to February 19 at 11:59 p.m.\n$40 prior to March 3 at 6:00 p.m.\n$45 Race day registration \nChildren 18 and under are $15 when registering BEFORE Race Day \nSCHEDULE\nSATURDAY MARCH 4\n6:00 a.m. Packet pick up (race number\, timing chip and shirt) and race day registration at Kiwanis Park\n7:30 a.m. 10km begins\n8:00 a.m. 5km begins\n8:30 a.m. 1 Mile Walk begins\n8:45 a.m. 10km awards presentation\n9:00 a.m. 5km awards presentation \nIf you are arriving after 7:30 a.m. please be mindful that the 10km has already started. \nVirtual Nun Run\nWant to join The Nun Run but can’t make it to Kiwanis Park? Join as a virtual participant and participate in either a 10km\, 5km or prayer walk. All virtual participants will receive a Nun Run shirt and race number. Register by 11:59 p.m. February 17 to receive by race day. Virtual entries recieved after that time will be sent after race day \nRACE TIMING\nThis race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up\, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button.  \n5k and 10k AWARDS\nTop 3 male and female overall\nAge group awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers per the following age groups:\n0-4\n5/6\n7/8\n9/10\n11/12\n13/14\n15-19\n20-29\n30-39\n40-49\n50-59\n60-69\n70-79\n80-89\n90+
