SUMMARY:VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS SWEATER 5km
DESCRIPTION:With the cancellation of this live race (official announcement below) we will be making lemonade out of lemons and offering a Virtual Christmas Sweater 5km. Your entry will include an event shirt\, postage and the proceeds will be donated to Toys for Tots.\nRegistration will be available until Christmas Day and times can be uploaded HERE \nIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of The Christmas Sweater 5km. The City of Tempe has moved to the red (substantial transmission) in all three categories (cases\, percent positivity and COVID-19 like illness).\nYou have several options for your entry fees\n1.	Receive a refund\, less Active Network processing fees. Refund requests must be received by noon December 24 and will be processed the following week\n2.	Run the event virtually (shirts will be mailed)\n3.	Transfer to one of the following 2021 events\n•	August 21 – Run Soaked\n•	October 9 – Running of the Brats!!\n•	November 25 – Anthem Turkey Trot\n•	December 18 – Christmas Sweater 5km \nPlease email christmassweater@4peaksracing.com with your option \n \nDig deep in your closet and pull out your finest Christmas Sweater. Don’t have a Christmas Sweater? Don’t sweat it\, our event shirt will have you covered. \nWe are hopeful to bring this event to Arizona. However\, we are prepared for yet another event cancellation due to the ever-evolving COVID situation. We will offer entry-fee refunds (does not include Active processing fees) if the event is cancelled. Please note that there will be no finisher medals or awards for the Christmas Sweater 5km 2020. There will also be no water stations on the course\, athletes will need be prepared and bring enough fluids for their run. \nSAFETY PROTOCOLS\nSafe return to racing \nIMPORTANT SAFETY DETAILS\n1.
