DESCRIPTION:October 1 Update\nLake Pleasant water temperature this morning is 79F. We will continue to measure water temperature this week and give updates as they are available. USA Triathlon rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or lower. USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1 – 83.9 degrees\, competitors may wear wetsuits but will not be eligible for awards. \nLooks like it is going to be a hot one. If you would like to switch from Olympic distance to sprint or from triathlon to aquabike please let us know. Our permit does not allow for an aid station on the bike course so please plan accordingly. There will be an aid station on the run course every mile with water and Gatorade. \nIn consideration of the weather report we have changed the event start times and awards ceremony.
