One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member\, or (2) purchase a one day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration. \nPARKING\nPaid parking will be available adjacent to Tempe Center for the Arts at the parking garage located at:\n850 W Rio Salado Pkwy\nTempe AZ 85281 \n1 hour or less – $3.00\n2 hours or less – $6.00\n3 hours or less – $9.00\n4 hours or less – $12.00\n5 hours or less – $15.00\nLost ticket – $15.00\nThe parking lot does not accept cash\, it’s an automated facility and credit/debit cards are accepted at the exit lanes. \nOn race morning access to the Idea Parking Garage before 500am will be unrestricted. From 500am to 530am bike course road closures will begin to take effect. Access to the Idea Parking Garage will be from University\, northbound on Hardy. After 600am there is no parking in the Idea Parking Garage. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event. These chips are the athlete’s responsibility and missing chips will be charged to the athletes. \nAWARDS\nTop 3 male and female Pro in the International distance\nOverall awards will be given to the top three male and female age group finishers in the Sprint and International distance.\nAge group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Sprint and International distance per the following age groups:\n10-14\n15-19\n20-24\n25-29\n30-34\n35-39\n40-44\n45-49\n50-54\n55-59\n60-64\n65-69\n70-74\n75-79\n80+\nAwards will also be given to the top three finishers in the following categories:\nParatriathlete\nAqua Bike\nDuathlon\nClydesdales (Men 220 +lbs)\nAthenas (Women 165+ lbs)\nRelay coed\nRelay male\nRelay female \nAQUA BIKE\nFinal time will be calculated at BIKE IN. Once you have finished please make your way to the finish line at your leisure to collect your medal\, grab a drink and return your timing chip. \nSITE MAP\n \nSWIM\nStart and finish at Arts Park\nSprint distance follows the yellow line and international follows the green line\nRolling start so there will be athletes starting the swim while others are finishing the swim\n \nIf\, for any reason\, Tempe Town Lake is not useable Cactus Man will proceed as a duathlon \nCLICK HERE for water temp. We will be following USA Triathlon’s guidelines for wetsuit use. Wetsuits use is allowed when water temperature is 78 or under. Age group athletes can use at wetsuit when water temperature is 78-84 but would not be eligible to awards \nBIKE \n \nRUN
