Top three men and women age groupers on Olympic and Sprint will be crowned AZ State Champions. We will be following USA Triathlon’s guidelines for wetsuit use. Wetsuits use is allowed when water temperature is 78 or under. Age group athletes can use at wetsuit when water temperature is 78-84 but would not be eligible to awards \nBIKE\nSprint = 1 lap\nOlympic = 2 laps\n \nRUN\nSprint = 1 lap\nOlympic = 2 laps\n \nSafety is our number one priority. As such 4 Peaks Racing reserves the right to make any changes necessary to the event. \nAQUA BIKE\nAqua Bike athletes will start with the corresponding wave and complete the swim and bike only. Final time will be calculated at BIKE IN. Once you have finished please make your way to the finish line at your leisure to collect your medal\, grab a drink and return your timing chip. \nRACE TIMING\nThis event is timed using equipment by RFID Timing Systems. All participants need to wear a timing chip around their ankle with the Velcro strap provided. The chips are reusable and need to be returned after the event. These chips are the athlete’s responsibility and missing chips will be charged to the athletes. \nSCHEDULE\nAll athletes must pick up their own race packets. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member and provide proof of membership at packet pick up\, or (2) purchase a one day membership at packet pick up. From 530am to 630am bike course road closures will begin to take effect. Access to the Idea Parking Garage will be from University\, northbound on Hardy. After 630am there is no parking in the to the Idea Parking Garage.
