The Poor Clares are happy to host this event – now in it’s 8th year and running! The Nun Run Presented by Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Homes is their biggest annual fundraiser…and the most successful, thanks to YOU! With distances of 10km run, 5km run and 1 mile there is something for everyone. Your participation is greatly appreciated! We will be having a silent auction on race day! Yes, the Nuns have been crafting some beautiful and unique items for the event. They are like “nun-other”! Knitting, Crocheting, Rosary-Making – their fingers have been busy, busy, busy! Even if you are not participating in the Run, come on out to Kiwanis Park on March 4th and get ready to bid on some wonderful gifts for young and old alike! If you are arriving after 7:30 a.m. please be mindful that the 10km has already started.
This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button. Results will be available live at the results kiosk on big screen TV’s.
