RUN FOR FUNDS
The 2018 version of the Frank Kush Run is encouraging school supporters, boosters, clubs, students, parents, faculty and staff to participate as teams of 25+ or 50+ runners and earn money for your school or school activity. Schools with 25+ runners will receive a $125.00 cash bonus from the Frank Kusch Youth Foundation. Two hundred fifty dollars will be awarded groups of 50+ runners. ABOUT THE 2018 RUN
The 27th anniversary of the Frank Kush Youth Foundation Run, presented by Tempe Sister Cities and Four Peaks Brewery, will take place Saturday, October 13th. For the past seven years the run has been associated with Four Peaks Oktoberfest @ Tempe Town Lake. The 27th run version will remain on Oktoberfest weekend ( 10/12 – 10-14) www.fourpeaksoktoberfest.com

Run distances of 5K run/walk, 10K run and 1 mile run/walk will grace a scenic course around Tempe Town Lake. As always, serious runners, beginners, walkers, kids and kids in strollers are encouraged to participate.

COACH FRANK KUSH BIO
Sometimes mere cold numbers really tell the story. Over 22 seasons as the Arizona State football coach, Frank Kush ran up a record of 176-54-1. He took over what basically was a small-college program in 1958 and turned it into a regular top-20 team by the 1970s. CLICK HERE to learn more about Frank Kush’s remarkable career.

Donated equally the run proceeds support the following: Tempe Elementary School District supporting athletic and physical education needs, Tempe Sister Cities in support of their award winning international student exchange program and The Frank Kush Football Endowment managed by the ASU Foundation.

RACE TIMING
This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button. Live results will be available at the results kiosk.
