INTRODUCTION
Please note that the Blackstone Country Club is a private, gated community and there will be no access granted until the triathlon on Sunday. Please respect the privacy of the Blackstone Community so that this event can continue in the future.
Hosted at the Mountain Vista Club this triathlon showcases the beautiful Vistancia Community. Swim in the impeccable Mountain Vista Club pool, bike through the exclusive Blackstone Country Club and explore Vistancia on the run course utilizing the Discovery Trail. This event is one for the whole family with adult and youth distance triathlons. -

COURSE
SWIM
Participants will be seeded by ability
One participant will start every 15 seconds
At the end of each length the participant will go under the lane line into the adjacent lane.
Swimmers will complete 100yds each round through the pool. They will need to do 4 cycles through the pool.
At the end of each round through the pools, participants head back to the start, after 4 times through they head out to the transition area and their bikes.
BIKE (3 Loops)
Participants wil not have access to the Blackstone portion of the bike course at any time other than during the triathlon. Please respect the privacy of this gated community.

Out and back on the Discovery Trail starting north bound -

Athletes will be arranged to start the race by swim time. During the registration process please indicate your estimated 400m swim time. -
TIMING
The Sprint Triathlon at Vistancia will be chip timed by CEP Timing. Chips will be available to pick up at 6:00 a.m. race morning. Please make sure your timing chip is returned after the race. These chips are the athlete's responsibility and missing chips will be charged to the athletes. -

AWARDS
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers per the following age groups:
10-14
15-19
20-24
25-29
30-34
35-39
40-44
45-49
50-54
55-59
60+
Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in the following categories:
Clydesdales (Men 200 +lbs)
Athenas (Women 150+ lbs)

USAT
We are proud to be sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member and provide proof of membership at packet pick up, or (2) purchase a one day membership for $10. REFUNDS
A refund of half the entry fee paid, less any fees charged by Active for online entry, will be given if requested 30 days before race day. After that there are no refunds or transfers for any reason. This includes weather, injury or the necessity to change distances or the course due to unforeseen and/or unanticipated circumstances.
